Just Like a Girl Just announces our second annual fundraising event to support Healthy Lifestyle and Sports for Girls. We realize that girls dropping out of sports is 6% higher than boys during their high school years. On the other hand, 82% of women executives admit that they played during growing up. Sadly due to lack of opportunity and proper leadership parents ignore the advantage of playing sports for girls. At Just Like a Girl, we break barriers and empower girls through sports.
o add more fun to the event we decided to include our furry friends in this race. Run with your dogs or without your dogs to make the event a big success. Runners can choose from 5k or 3k or 1K runs depending on the size and capacity of their dogs. Running without dogs is also acceptable as long as runners are comfortable with dogs around. Registrants will get an email with detailed instructions on how to record time and send them to us. Winners of each race will receive Gift Cards as awards.
